Journal Entry – February 1 and 2

February 1 & 2– Days 27 & 28

Weekly Weigh In

I’m four weeks into the Focus T25 exercise program and nutrition plan and here are my results this week.  Hmmm….very interesting.

Weight: 2 lb loss

Chest: 1/2 inch loss

Waist: 1 1/2 inch gain (??)

Arm: no change (L) and 1/4 gain(R)

Thigh: no change

Yay!!! 2 more lbs down! Ten pats on the back for me!!!  I’m definitely doing something wrong on the measurements, I think.  I have to be doing something right if I’m eating healthy and exercising and the weight is coming down. I have more energy and I feel more fit.

Unless I tattoo my skin to remember where I measured I am going to make a big assumption that I’m measuring different largest parts of each area every week and chalk it up to human error.  I’m good at a lot of things.  This may not be one of them.

No Superbowl Treats for Me

I decided that Superbowl treats were a no-no this year.  I watched some of the game, the half-time show and even caught a few commercials!  It was fun and I felt good after my morning stretch and even better that I stuck to my nutrition plan.

This week I finish Alpha Phase.  It’s the toughest combination of videos this week, so wish me luck!  I will give a 5 week summary since this will be the halfway point of the program.  It’s going so fast!  Wow!

  1. Congratulations on your weight loss and for not falling off of your plan during the Superbowl. I hear you about the extra energy. It’s as though the healthier you eat, the more you exercise, the more energy you get, and the more you want to exercise.

    • Absolutely! Thanks for the support it means a lot and will mean even more as time passes and the novelty of everything wears off. That’s when we all have to dig deep and make it over the forrest and through the woods to be ‘fit for life!’ Congrats to you, too! Low carb is tough but I’m sure you are figuring out creative ways of eating to stick with it. Looking forward to more of your posts!
